Trailer Brake Control Switch: Removal

Vehicles equipped with a floor console
- Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console

All vehicles

NOTE: 12 inch screen shown in illustration, 10 inch screen is similar.
Release the clips and remove the upper centerstack bezel.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
- Release the clips and remove the RH instrument center trim panel.
- On vehicles equipped with push button start disconnect the electrical connector.

Vehicles without a floor console
- On vehicles equipped with push button start disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the bolt.
Torque
: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips and remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the LH lower center trim panel.
- Release the clips and remove the RH lower center trim panel.
- Remove the lower center trim panel.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Vehicles equipped with a floor console
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the lower center trim panel.
- Remove the bolts.
Torque
: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
All vehicles
- Remove the bolts.
- Press the 4 tabs and remove the trailer brake control switch.

- Press the 4 tabs.
- Remove the trailer brake control switch.
