DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition PCM P0630:00 VIN Not Programmed or Incompatible - ECM/PCM: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the PCM does not receive a valid VIN during reprogramming. Possible Sources
- Vehicle configuration information has been improperly configured
- G1 CHECK FOR PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) S
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the PCM self-test.
- Check for any other PCM related symptoms.
Is DTC P0630 the only DTC present?
Yes The VIN must be reprogrammed. Reflash the PCM. Refer to MODULE PROGRAMMING . Repeat the self test. No DIAGNOSE all PCMDTCs.
