Steering Wheel: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Refer to: DRIVER AIRBAG
  2. NOTE: Make sure that the steering column lock is engaged.
    NOTE: Make sure that the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.

  4. If equipped.
  5. NOTE: Make sure a new bolt is installed.

    Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

  6. NOTE: Make sure that the clockspring rotor does not rotate.
