Repair
NOTE:
Cylinder block core plug shown, cylinder head core plug similar.
- Clean the cup plug contour using air.
- Clean the surface area shown with brake cleaner and air dry.

NOTE: Do not touch the metal surface with the tip of the bottle.
Apply loctite around the interface between the cup plug and housing.

: Thread Locking Adhesive
- Loctite must be seen all around the cup plug circumference.
- Using a lint free towel remove any excess or spot faces found without removing the loctite from the cup plug.Use the General Equipment: Lint-Free Towel
- Let the loctite cure for 24 hours without engine operation.
- Start the vehicle and inspect for leaks.
- If no leaks detected and the cup plug is sealed successfully mark above the cup plug.
