Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Removal

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Download the module information to the diagnostic tool using the Programmable Modules Installation routine. efer to: Module Configuration (418-01 Module Configuration - 3.5L EcoBoost (235kW/320PS)).
Remove the retainers and position aside the degas bottle.
Torque: 8 Nm

Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the retainers and the module.
Torque: 5 Nm

- Disconnect the PCM electrical connectors.
- Remove the mounting bolts and the PCM.
  Torque: 11 Nm
