Alternators in production include 10SI, 12SI, 15SI, 17SI and 27SI series integral regulator units. Rated ampere output is stamped on housing. Alternators for Chevrolet and GMC are available in 37 thru 80 ampere ratings. Jeep models are rated at 42, 56, 78 and 80 amperes.
