Test 106C - Body Control Module Battery Power Supply

CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  section at the end of this article. Perform TEST VER-1B after each repair.
  1. Ensure all lamps are off. Close all doors except left front door. Hold left front door ajar switch closed. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of IOD fuse connector (Pink wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Pink wire and replace IOD fuse. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Reconnect BCM Blue connector. Check resistance of IOD fuse connector (Pink wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace IOD fuse. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace BCM.
