Adjuster Plug: Reassembly

  1. Using adjuster plug Bearing Installer (J-8524-1) and Driver (J-7079-2), seat needle bearing in adjuster plug assembly. Lubricate oil seal with power steering fluid. Install oil seal, washer and retaining ring into adjuster plug.
  2. Ensure retainer projections must not extend beyond washer, when retainer ring is seated. Washer must be free to rotate.
