Lock Function Inoperative/Unlock Function Operates Normally

  1. Roll windows down. Attempt to lock doors using door interior switches. If doors lock with both driver and passenger door switches, go to next step. If doors do not lock with both driver and passenger door switches, replace lock relay located in instrument panel junction block. Repeat RKE SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  2. Measure voltage between ground and RKE module connector terminal "B" (Light Blue wire). Press lock button on one transmitter. If battery voltage is present when LOCK button is pressed, check Light Blue wire for a short to ground. If wire is okay, replace RKE module. Repeat RKE SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  3. If battery voltage is not present when LOCK button is pressed, repair open circuit in Light Blue wire. Repeat RKE SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM TESTS.
