Scan Tool Data Definitions

The ABS scan tool data definitions contain a brief description of all ABS related parameters available on the scan tool. The parameters that are available on the scan tool are listed below in alphabetical order.

4WD Status: The scan tool always displays Two Wheel Drive.

ABS Warning Lamp: The scan tool displays On/Off.

The scan tool displays On when the ABS indicator is being commanded on.

Brake Switch Status: The scan tool displays On/Off. The scan tool displays On when the brake is applied.

Brake Warning Lamp: The scan tool displays On/Off. The scan tool displays On when the brake warning indicator is being commanded on or when a brake pressure differential exists.

Left Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 5-257 km/h (3-160 mph). The scan tool displays 5 km/h (3 mph) when the vehicle is not moving or moving at speeds less than or equal to 5 km/h (3 mph).

Rear Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 5-257 km/h (3-160 mph). The scan tool displays 5 km/h (3 mph) when the vehicle is not moving or moving at speeds less than or equal to 5 km/h (3 mph).

Right Front Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays 5-257 km/h (3-160 mph). The scan tool displays 5 km/h (3 mph) when the vehicle is not moving or moving at speeds less than or equal to 5 km/h (3 mph).
