PASSLOCK Reprogramming Seed and Key

Perform a Passkey TM Learn Procedure it any of the following components have been replaced:
^ Passlock(TM) sensor
^ Body control module
^ Vehicle control module

All of the above modules except for the Passlock(TM) sensor must be programmed using their own vehicle configuration. See the individual module service manual section.

There are 2 types of Passlock learn procedures:
^ A 30 minute Auto Learn procedure which requires a scan tool used in order to clear codes. PASSLOCK Reprogramming Auto Learn
^ A 10 minute Seed and Key procedure which requires a Techline Terminal and a Tech 2 scan tool. This procedure is listed below:

Seed and Key - 10 Minute Procedure
1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Select Service Programming on the Tech 2 screen, follow instructions.
3. Select Service Programming on the Techline Terminal and follow instructions.
