Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2002 GMC Envoy XL, 2002 GMC Envoy, and 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install a stationary window into the opening. Refer to Urethane Adhesive Installation of Encapsulated Stationary Windows .
  2. Connect the antenna lead located on the rear quarter window, if equipped. Refer to RADIO CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT or RADIO ANTENNA MODULE REPLACEMENT in Entertainment.

  3. Install the upper quarter trim. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  5. Inspect the radio or the OnStar® system, if equipped, to verify reception.
  6. Close the liftgate window.
