Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front end discriminating sensor (1).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the front end discriminating sensor - left fasteners (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  3. Install the front end discriminating sensor - left electrical connector (3).
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1 .
