Installation Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Handling and Storage Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Connect the inflator module electrical connectors (2).
Connect the connector position assurances (3) to the inflator module.
Install the steering wheel module (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the bolts to the steering wheel module (1).
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 8.8 N.m (78 lb in).
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 .
