Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the mounting bracket to the cowl panel with the 3 screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the cruise control module bracket screws to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  2. Install the cruise control module to the vehicle.
  3. Install the 3 nuts that retain the cruise control module to the mounting bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the cruise control module nuts to 9.0 N.m (6.6 lb ft).

  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Install the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement (LU3) .
  6. Connect the battery negative cable.
  7. Test the systems operation.
