Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Disconnect the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement (LU3) .
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the 3 nuts that retain the cruise control module to the mounting bracket studs.
Remove the cruise control module from the mounting bracket.
Remove the 3 screws that retain the mounting bracket to the cowl panel.
