Visual/Physical Inspection

- Inspect under the package shelf for a remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR), which was added midyear. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement (Coupe) or Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement (Sedan) or Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement (Convertible) .
- Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the Keyless Entry System. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories .
- Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
