Preliminary Procedures Remove the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (without RPO E61) or Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (with RPO E61) . Remove the liftgate actuator (if equipped). Refer to Liftgate Actuator Replacement .
1	Communication Interface Module Bracket Procedure: Disconnect the body harness from the bracket as required. Loosen the bracket fasteners to remove the bracket from the slotted holes. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
