Sear Vision System Does Not Display
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the rear view camera image display module.
- Ignition OFF, test for greater than 1.0 ohm of resistance between the camera video signal circuit terminal 11 and ground.
- If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
- Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp does not illuminate between the camera video signal circuit terminal 11 and ground.
- If the test lamp illuminates, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
- Ignition OFF, test for greater than 1.0 ohm of resistance between the camera video signal circuit terminal 12 and ground.
- If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
- Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp does not illuminate between the camera video signal circuit terminal 12 and ground.
- If the test lamp illuminates, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector X4 at the radio.
- Test for less than 1.0 ohm of resistance along the signal circuit terminal 11 to terminal 7.
- If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance.
- Test for less than 1.0 ohm of resistance along the signal circuit terminal 12 to terminal 6.
- If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the rear view camera module.
