Removal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the harness connector of the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
3. Drain cooling water.
4. Remove the ECT sensor.
- Clear the old sealant from the ECT sensor threads and the thermostat housing threads.
