Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.
If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn , for the V6, Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn , for the V8, or Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the Hybrid.
- Engine replacement
- Any engine repair that disturbs the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor or its relationship with the crankshaft reluctor wheel
- CKP sensor
If the throttle body is replaced, a Throttle Learn procedure must be performed. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn , for the V6, Throttle/Idle Learn , for the V8, or Throttle/Idle Learn for the Hybrid.
