Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove instrument Panel - left side. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Equinox)Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Terrain) . Remove mode valve actuator. Mode Valve Actuator Replacement
1	Mode Cam Actuator Cover Screw (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the mode actuator electrical connector. Tighten 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2	Mode Cam Actuator Cover.
3	Mode Cam Actuator Gears
4	Mode Cam Actuator Arms (Qty: 2)
