Preliminary Procedure Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement . Disconnect the fuel and EVAP lines from the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service . Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the fuel tank fuel pump module.
1	Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Lock Ring CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Special Tools J-45722 Fuel Sender Lock Ring Wrench For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Diagnostic Tools)Special Tools (Mechanical Tools)
2	Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Procedure Disconnect the vent pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service . Replace the O-ring seal.

Procedure

Disconnect the vent pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Replace the O-ring seal.
