Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Steering Column

  1. Position the steering column (1) in the vehicle.
    2. Fig 2: Steering Column Nut

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Steering Column Nut (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  3. Connect the steering column electrical connectors.
  4. Install Steering Column Lower Trim Cover.Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement

  5. Install Intermediate Steering Shaft (1) @Steering Column.Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement 
  6. Install Instrument Panel Steering Column Opening Closeout.Instrument Panel Steering Column Opening Closeout Replacement
  7. Install Instrument Panel Assembly. Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement
