Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Chevrolet, GMC)Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Cadillac)
- Place the rear bumper fascia face down on a clean protected surface.

Rear Object Sensor Wiring Harness Procedure
- Disconnect the rear object sensor wiring harness electrical connectors from the rear object sensors.
- Disconnect the rear object sensor wiring harness electrical connectors from the rear module.
- Disconnect any remaining electrical connectors.
- Using a suitable tool, disconnect the rear object sensor wiring harness retainers from the rear bumper fascia.
