Removal Procedure

  1. Block the drive wheels.
  2. Disable the parking brake cable adjuster. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling (With J77) Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Disabling (Without J77) 
  3. Place the ignition in the OFF position.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .

  6. Remove the electronic parking brake control module bolts (1).
  7. Position the electronic parking brake control module to access the electrical connector.
  8. Disconnect the electronic parking brake control module electrical connector.

  10. Disconnect the parking brake intermediate cable nut (1).

  12. Remove the electronic parking brake control module bracket bolts (1).
  13. Separate the electronic parking brake control module from the bracket.

  15. Maneuver and remove the electronic parking brake control module (1).
