Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Fig 1: Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube

  3. Remove the windshield washer solvent container filler tube (1). Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube Replacement (Sedan with CE1)Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube Replacement (Sedan with CE4)Windshield Washer Solvent Container Filler Tube Replacement (Coupe) .
  4. Thoroughly clean the electronic brake control module (EBCM) to brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) area of any accumulated dirt and debris.
  5. Disconnect the EBCM electrical connector.

  7. Remove the EBCM bolts (1).

    NOTE:

    Do not pry the components apart.

  9. Remove the EBCM (1) from the BPMV.
  10. Clean the sealing surfaces of the EBCM and the BPMV with denatured alcohol and allow to dry.
