Preliminary Procedure  Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1	Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Fastener (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten  9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Procedure  Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor.
