Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Steering Column

  1. Position the steering column (1) in the vehicle.
    2. Fig 2: Steering Column Nut

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Steering Column Nut (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  3. Connect the steering column electrical connectors.
  4. Install Steering Column Lower Trim Cover - Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement

  5. Install Intermediate Steering Shaft (2) @Steering Column - Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement 
  6. Install Instrument Panel Steering Column Opening Closeout - Instrument Panel Steering Column Opening Closeout Replacement
  7. Install Instrument Panel Assembly - Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement
