Component Testing

Forward Collision Alert Switch

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.
  2. Test for 7.0k-10.5k Ω between the control terminal 8 and the signal circuit terminal 9.
    • If not between 7.0k-10.5k Ω 

      Replace the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.

    • If between 7.0k-10.5k Ω 
  3. Test for 2.1k-3.1k Ω between the control terminal 8 and the signal circuit terminal 9 while pressing the switch.
    • If not between 2.1k-3.1k Ω 

      Replace the S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left.

    • If between 2.1k-3.1k Ω 
  4. All OK.
