Installation Procedure

  1. GM4260198

    Seal (1) - Install

    Electronic Brake Control Module (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

    NOTE:

    A new EBCM may not have threaded inserts. Refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog and use new self tapping fasteners to form the threads.

  3. Electronic Brake Control Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten in sequence (Qty: 4)

    1. First Pass: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
    2. Second Pass: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
    3. Final Pass: 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)
  4. Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install - Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement 
  5. Program the EBCM. Control Module References
