Instrument Panel Compartment Door Lock Cylinder Procedure
- Insert the key into the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder.
- Position the latch in the up position to access the poke hole.
- Rotate the instrument panel compartment lock cylinder clockwise to the 3 o'clock position with the key.
- Apply a light load with a suitable tool and depress the retainer tumbler through the poke hole on the latch assembly.
- Rotate the key until the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder rotates to about 5 o'clock position.
- Remove the instrument panel compartment lock cylinder from the latch by pulling on the key.
