Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the right side front wheelhouse liner. Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
, or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Blackwing)
- Place a clean suitable drain pan under the windshield washer solvent container to recover the windshield washer solvent when the level sensor and seal are removed.

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Level Sensor Procedure
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Using the appropriate tools, place under each side of the windshield washer solvent container level sensor, twist and lift in opposite directions to disengage the level sensor from the windshield washer solvent container and grommet.

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Level Sensor Grommet
NOTE:
Install a NEW grommet. Do NOT reuse old grommet.
Procedure
- Carefully squeeze the grommet while using a flat-bladed tool to pry upward under the edge of the grommet.
- When installing the grommet, use full strength windshield washer fluid as a lubricant on the grommet.
- Push the grommet into the windshield washer solvent container until fully seated.
