Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON.
- Verify there are no DTCs set, except for DTC B395D.
- If any other DTCs are set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
- If any other DTCs are set
- Verify the windshield has not been replaced with an incorrect windshield and the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield bracket is properly adhered to the windshield in the correct location.
- If the windshield is incorrect or the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield bracket is incorrectly secured
Repair or replace as necessary.
- Go to next step: If the windshield is correct and the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield bracket is correctly secured
- If the windshield is incorrect or the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield bracket is incorrectly secured
- Verify the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield is properly and securely mounted to the windshield bracket.
- If not correctly mounted
Remove and reinstall the camera. Refer to Front View Camera Replacement
- Go to next step: If correctly mounted
- If not correctly mounted
- Perform the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield learn. Refer to Front View Camera Module Learn .
- Verify DTC B395D is not set after completing the learn.
- If DTC B395D is set
Replace the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield.
- Go to next step: If DTC B395D is not set
- If DTC B395D is set
- All OK.
NOTE:
Before performing the calibration, verify that the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield will not have difficulty determining lane markings in front of the vehicle. If the the B174W Frontview Camera - Windshield is blocked with mud, dirt, snow, ice, or slush, if the windshield is damaged, or if weather limits visibility, such as while driving in fog, rain, or snow conditions, the calibration procedure may not be able to be completed.
