K5 Automatic Level Control Module
The K5 Automatic Level Control Module controls the system functions and detects failures. It relies on data from the following modules to function properly:
- K9 Body Control Module (BCM)
- K160 Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)
- A11 Center Stack Module (CSM)
- P16 Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)
- K43 Electronic Power Steering Module (EPS)
- K19 Semi Active Damping System (SADS)
- K36 Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM)
The K5 Automatic Level Control Module utilizes the following vehicle parameters alone or in combination with one another to establish a target ride height that is other than that selected by the driver or to control the type of movement (i.e. fast, slow, unattended):
- Vehicle Speed
- Lateral Acceleration
- Longitudinal Acceleration
- Throttle Position
- Cruise Control Status
- Transmission Range Selection Status
- Stability Control System Status
- Semi-Active Damping System Status
- Vehicle Power Mode
- Suspension Position Sensors
- Air Spring Pressures
- Vehicle Load Shed
- Propulsion Active State
- Door/hood State
- Four-Wheel Drive State
- Steering Wheel Angle
- Alignment Mode
- Service Mode
- Seat Belt
- Logistics Mode
- Vehicle Battery Voltage
- Trailer Connection
- System Thermal Estimate
- Vehicle Load
- Spring Pressures
