Installation Procedure

    Generator (4) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. If previously removed, install and tighten the generator mounting stud to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Generator Nut (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  4. Electrical Connector (3) - Connect
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Generator Bolt (4) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  7. Starter Solenoid Cable (1) - Install
  8. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @Starter Solenoid - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  9. Generator Nut (3) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  10. Lower the vehicle.

    Generator Shield (2) - Install - Generator Shield Replacement 

  12. Drive Belt - Install - Drive Belt Replacement
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
