Removal Procedure
- Set the parking brake and chock the wheels.
- Place the transmission control in the Neutral position.
Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs attaching the automatic transmission control lever knob (1) to the front floor console cup holder trim plate.
With a firm grip on the automatic transmission control lever knob (1), lift straight up in order to disengage it from the automatic transmission control.
- Automatic Transmission Control Lever Knob (1) - Remove
Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
- Front Floor Console Applique - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
Use a suitable plastic trim tool to release the retaining tabs on the front floor console cup holder trim plate (2), and pull it up and away from the automatic transmission control.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors. (1)
- Front Floor Console Cup Holder Trim Plate (2) - Remove
Ride Control Switch Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
- Ride Control Switch Bracket (2) - Remove
Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
- Separate the ride control switch (1) from the ride control switch bracket (2).
