Repair Procedures: Installation

Attach radial seal ring on the press in tool.
Knock with the plastic ring into the transfer case housing.

Place the circlip in the groove of the flange.

Insert the new flange (A) into the transfer case by applying slight strokes of the plastic hammer.

Fill the lower edge of the filler plug (installed transfer case) with the oil.
Tighten the plug to 60 Nm (6.0kgf.m, 43.4lb-ft).

Oil type: Shell TF0870
CAUTION:
- Replace gasket before reinstalling the filler plug.

Install the transfer case in the vehicle.

After the installation, start the engine and then check if there are any leakages from the transfer case.
