Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the air-bag module from the steering wheel.

    (Refer to Restraint - "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")

  3. Release the under remote switch assembly (B) after loosening the screws (A).

  4. Disconnect the under remote switch connector (A).

  5. Remove the under remote switch assembly (A) from the steering.
