PTM Operating Flow (Trunk Closed)

- Closing can be triggered by receiving closing signal from one of the following:
- Trunk inner switch
- Driver side crash pad switch (Operates only while pressed.)
- On receiving closing signal, the PTM controls the operating units including the motor rotate/operate in the direction of closing.
- The closing angle of the trunk is determined by calculating the input pulse from the hall sensor.
- The rotating speed of motor can be controlled by the hall sensor built into the trunk lid motor.
- It increases motor speed if It is slower than set value and vice versa.
- if the pulse interval of the hall sensor is long, the operation will be stopped after determine that there is jamming or obstacle in the operating range.
- Power latch is mechanically locked after contacting with the striker.
- PTM moves the power latch to the half locked position and then stopped it.
