Repair Procedures: Installation

- Set the front tires straight-ahead.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable from the battery and wait for at least three minutes before beginning the work.
- Connect the clock spring harness connector and horn harness connector to the clock spring.
- Centralize the clock spring.
- Turn the clock spring clockwise until it stops.
- From the stopped position, turn the clock spring counterclockwise 2 turns.
- Align the marks ( ).
- Install the steering wheel column shroud and the steering wheel.

- Connect the driver airbag (DAB) module connector and horn connector, and then install the driver airbag (DAB) module on the steering wheel.CAUTION: When connect the DAB connectors (A), make sure to connect doubly in below illustration.
Fix the horn wire (C) and DAB inflator wire (D) tightly with wire clip (B) - Install the air bag module.
- Reconnect the battery (-) cable.
- After replacing the airbag module, air bag systems and should verify that it is working horn.
NOTE:
If this is ON the ignition switch, the air bag warning light has been turned on for 6 seconds, but must be turned off.
