DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Variant monitoring
  1. Faulty ESP/PCM/TCM
  2. Variant coding not carried out
  3. Replacement of PCM (ECM & TCM)
  4. CAN Bus Off
  5. Equipped with different ESP module.
Case 1 Threshold Value
  • When variant coding is not completed.
  • When 2WD vehicle receives 4WD messages.
MIL
  • Inhibit the EPB control.
  • The EPB warning lamp is activated.
Case 2 Threshold Value
  • When variant coding is not completed.
  • When non-Ax variant vehicle receives Ax messages.
MIL
  • Inhibit the EPB control.
  • The EPB warning lamp is activated.
Case 3 Threshold Value
  • When variant coding is not completed.
  • When non-EPB vehicle receives EPB messages.
MIL
  • Inhibit the AVH/EPB control.
  • The AVH/EPB warning lamp is activated.
Reset Condition
  • DTC is cleared and W/Lamp is off after calibration is done
