DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Evaluate O2 sensor element temperature
  1. Related fuse blown or missing
  2. Heater control/power circuit open or short
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty HO2S
Prerequisite condition
  • Upstream O2 sensor normal heating time is longer than 5 seconds.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor tip temperature is too low. -temperature is lower than 755°C (1391°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 Seconds
Mil On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
