Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical check - check symptoms related to HOS open circuit
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Open in HO2S control circuit
  3. Front HO2S
Prerequisite condition
  • Upstream O2 sensor operative readiness is detected.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Sensor pumping current circuit (VIP) is open
Diagnosis Time
  • 2.5 Seconds.
Mil On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
