DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the fuel pressure sensor signal
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Fuel pressure sensor
  3. Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM)
Prerequisite condition
  • Targeted fuel pressure is between 250 kPa and 600 kPa.
  • Engine is running
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V.
Threshold Value
  • Fuel pressure sensor power voltage is lower than 4.75V or higher than 5.25V.
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 Seconds
Mil On Condition
  • No MIL ON (DTC only)
