Check Short-To-Battery

- IG key "OFF".
- Disconnect IBU*_BCM connector, WMM* connector and "WIPER MOTOR" connector.
- IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
- Measure the voltage between "LIN" terminal of RSM* harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Below approx. 200 mV
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
→ Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check short between "LIN" terminal of RSM* harness connector and the battery power.
NOTE: IBU*: "IBU CONTROL MODULE"
RSM*: "RAIN SENSOR" - Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
