Inspect CAN Line Open

Ignition "OFF"
Measure resistance between EPS connector and CGW connector (CAN-HIGH).
Measure resistance between CGW connector and 4WD connector (CAN-HIGH).
Specification: 1 Ω below
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Substitute with a known - good "EPS ECU" or "4WD ECU" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "EPS ECU" or "4WD ECU" and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check for open/short in harness.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
