ECS (Electronic Controlled Suspension) controls suspension stiffness depends on running or road condition. Soft suspension has better ride comfort, but causes trouble to twist the body in rapid acceleration or quick breaking. On the other hand, stiff suspension has stable posture in high speed, but it delivers the road surface vibrate and decrease driving safety. ECS raises height of the vehicle on the unpaved road, and lower height of the vehicle for the better running stability by lower air resistant. Depends on the models, it can be adjusted automatically or manually.
