Wheel-G Sensor

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
    CAUTION:
    • Wait at least 30 seconds after separating the cable.
  2. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.

    Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.

  3. Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from front hub.

    Tightening torque: 

    137.3 - 156.9 N.m (14.0 - 16.0 kgf.m, 101.3 - 115.7 lb-ft)

    NOTE:
    • Safely remove the wheel and tire (A) using the guide bolt included in the Tire Mobility Kit (TMK).

    • Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front wheel and tire (A).

  4. Disconnect the wheel G-sensor connector (A).

  5. Loosen the wheel G-sensor bracket bolt (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    10.8 - 14.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.5 kgf.m, 8.0 - 10.8 lb-ft)

  6. Remove the wheel G-sensor (A) from the bracket.
