Engine Starting Authentication

The engine can be started after checking the authentication key.

1. Set the gear lever to 'P' or 'N', then press down the brake pedal and press the start/stop button.
2. Search for a smart key in the vehicle inside.
3. When a smart key is found in the inside the vehicle, the engine control unit makes it possible to start.

1. If there is no authentication information when ACC is switched to IGN ON, searches it and determine whether to authentication.
2. If authenticated in IGN ON state, authentication is maintained continuously (If requested by engine control unit)
